The head of Tatarstan, Minnikhanov, declared his readiness to comply with the law on regional authorities

 Tatarstan's opinion was not heard when the law on regional power was adopted, but the republic, as a law-abiding region, will implement it, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said.
On December 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a federal law on the organization of public power in the constituent entities of Russia. The document, in particular, prohibits the heads of regions to be called presidents and allows them to be elected for more than two consecutive terms.
