Russia beat Canada in the first match of the Channel One Cup

 Down-the-line.com/ Hockey. The Russian national ice hockey team beat the Canadian national team in the opening match of the Channel One Cup with a score of 4: 3 (1: 0, 2: 1, 1: 2). Korshkov, Yelesin, Nesterov and Shipachev were noted as washers in the Russian national team. The Canadians were scored by Gormley, Odette and O'Dell. Teams from the Czech Republic, Finland and Sweden also take part in the tournament.
