Minsk court sentenced 21-year-old Russian Dudnikov to 11 years in prison

 Minsk City Court on Monday sentenced Russian Egor Dudnikov, who was accused of inciting social hostility and calls for action against the national security of Belarus, to 11 years in prison with serving his sentence in a high-security colony, RIA Novosti correspondent reports from the courtroom.
"According to the totality of crimes, finally appoint (punishment - ed.) in the form of imprisonment for a term of 11 years with serving in a high-security colony," the judge said, announcing the sentence to the Russian.

He stressed that Dudnikov was found guilty of deliberate actions to incite hostility on the basis of social affiliation, committed by a group of persons that entailed grave consequences, as well as public calls to seize power, forcibly change the constitutional order using the Internet.
The judge stressed that the sentence has not entered into force and can be appealed in accordance with the law. Dudnikov's lawyer did not comment to RIA Novosti whether he plans to he and his client appeal the court's decision.
