Economist Grigorieva said that pensioners in December will receive money for January 2022

 Elena Grigorieva, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the RUDN, recalled that pensioners who receive payments on the first day of each month through Russian Post offices will receive money for January 2022 in December of this year. According to her, this is due to the upcoming January holidays.

"At the same time, it should be noted that there is no single schedule for pension payments. In different regions, pensions are transferred to banks and post offices in different ways," the Prime agency quotes Grigorieva as saying.

It is noted that during the current month, the indexation of fixed payments to insurance pensions for people over the age of 80 and for those whose employment ended three months ago took place.

"All these payments will be received in December," the economist added.

Earlier, the Pension Fund of Russia recalled that villagers can receive an increase in the form of an increased fixed pension payment of 25%. The payment has the right of citizens receiving an old-age or disability insurance pension.

Pensioners living in the village without paid work with at least 30 years of work experience in agriculture apply for the allowance.
