The State Duma approved the change in the cost of travel in Volgograd transport

 On January 1, 2022, the tariff for transportation in public transport will change.

The fare for the "Wave" card will be uniform from 2022. With its help, travel by bus, trolleybus and tram will cost 23 rubles. For those who pay for travel by bank card, the cost of the service will be 28 rubles. In the form of payment for travel in cash, the passenger will have to pay 30 rubles.

The most convenient and profitable way will be to pay for travel using the transport card "Wave". In Volgograd, 43% of citizens already use it.

It should be noted that the change in the fare on public transport last occurred 3 years ago. The increase in tariffs from January 1 is explained by inflation and rising prices for fuel and energy resources. Even despite the tariff change, the cost of public transport in Volgograd will remain lower than in many cities of the country, such as Samara, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don and others.
