The head of the Ministry of Health Murashko urged to reconsider the features of vaccination against coronavirus

MOSCOW, Dec 21 - RIA Novosti. Features of vaccination against coronavirus need to be reviewed, according to the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko.
"Approximately 2.5 times, our colleagues note, the number of children infected with omicron and requiring treatment in hospitals has increased. It is also noted that there are cases of repeated cases of a new coronavirus infection," he said at a meeting of the presidium of the coordinating council under the government to combat COVID-19.

The day before, the Ministry of Health approved the national calendar of preventive vaccinations and the calendar of vaccinations for epidemiological indications, including against coronavirus.

Thus, the following categories were assigned to the priority of the first level subject to mandatory vaccination against SARS-CoV-2: citizens aged 60 years and older; adults working in the medical, educational and social spheres; persons living in social institutions; suffering from chronic diseases, including bronchopulmonary, cardiovascular system, diabetes mellitus and obesity; residents of cities with a population of one million people or more.
At the same time, it is possible to vaccinate COVID-19 children aged 12 to 17 years inclusive only voluntarily — at the written request of one of the parents or a legal representative.
Now more than 76.5 million Russians have received the first dose, more than 70.8 million have been fully vaccinated.
